As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects. Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to oversee and manage the planning, execution, and completion of our projects, from initial design through fielding and long-term customer support. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, and serves as the primary point of contact between IDSI leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and the customer. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating all project activities, managing scope, schedule, and budget, and maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables, tracking milestones using IDSI's standard project framework (Kick-Off, iPDR, iCDR, Pre-Production, and AAR). Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams across engineering, production, and quality assurance, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment. Scope Management: Define project scope and objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations. Review contracts, statements of work, and technical specifications to identify risks or ambiguities before execution. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and monitor program budget. Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones. Quality Assurance: Coordinate with engineering and production to review drawings and design documentation for accuracy prior to release. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes. Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing project requirements and priorities. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk logs, and meeting minutes. Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with applicable quality and regulatory requirements, including ISO 9001:2015 and CMMC standards. Job Specifications: Education: Degree preferred PMP certification desired Experience: 5 to 10 years of project or program management experience, preferably in a defense, engineering, or manufacturing environment Experience managing technical deliverables, subcontractors, and customer relationships Previous military or law enforcement experience is a plus Experience working with defense primes or on DoD-related programs preferred Company Website : This position may require access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and government contract information.
