Groundskeeper / Landscape Caretaker


Full-Time | W-2 Position

Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week (Flexible start and end times)

Salary: $60,000-$63,000 per year to start (significant growth potential)

About the Property


We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Groundskeeper to care for and maintain a beautiful 23-acre farm property that welcomes both private use and visiting guests. The owners operate a working farm with a strong sense of community, hospitality, and stewardship of the land. While animals live on the property, animal care is not part of this role .

Position Overview


The Groundskeeper is responsible for the overall health, appearance, and upkeep of the property's gardens, lawns, beds, and grounds. This role requires hands-on landscape experience, attention to detail, and a thoughtful, non-chemical approach to plant and turf care. Because guests regularly visit the farm, the ideal candidate will also be friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with visitors when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and care for gardens, planting beds, turf, and landscaped areas
• Perform regular pruning, weeding, planting, and general plant care
• Manage plant, tree, and turf health, including disease prevention and treatment
• Utilize non-chemical pest control and disease management practices whenever possible
• Mow and maintain lawns to a high standard
• Monitor and manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and efficiency
• Perform general groundskeeping tasks to keep the property clean, safe, and visually appealing
• Identify potential issues proactively and address them before they become problems
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition
• Interact courteously and professionally with guests visiting the property

Requirements

• Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or property maintenance

• Experience with or openness to non-chemical pest and disease management
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Compensation & Benefits
