Job Description About the Role Our company is seeking independent medical delivery drivers to transport critical medical products over long distances. This is a 1099 contractor position best suited for drivers who enjoy the open road, have flexible availability, and own a qualifying vehicle. This is not an hourly job - drivers are paid by the mile when transporting critical medical product. You'll be an essential part of a logistics network that ensures timely delivery of life‑saving medical equipment. Compensation: $0.70–$1.00 per loaded mile (Rate depends on vehicle type - larger vehicles earn more) $20 flat rate for deliveries under 20 miles Additional compensation for wait time and deliveries occurring on a holiday Note: Only loaded miles are paid (not paid when driving empty) Schedule: On‑Demand / As‑Needed (Not a fixed route or shift) Product runs can occur anytime between 7:00 AM – 2:00 AM Must be responsive and available when called upon Most deliveries are 40–250 miles one way Requirements: Must live in or near Austin, TX Must use your own vehicle Minimum vehicle size accepted is a full‑size SUV or pickup truck with a camper shell, tailgate cover, or trailer required Cargo vans and larger vehicles are paid at a higher rate.
