Ricci Insurance Group is looking for a proven sales professional who is ready to turn their ability to sell and build relationships into a long-term career.

You do not need insurance experience. We can teach insurance. What we are looking for is someone who already knows how to create opportunities, earn trust, build relationships and close business.

Insurance offers something that many sales careers do not: the opportunity to build a book of business that becomes more valuable over time. Instead of starting over every month or every year, successful producers build a client base that generates renewals, referrals and increasing income as their career grows.

At Ricci Insurance Group, you will have the backing of an established, award-winning independent agency, access to a broad portfolio of leading insurance carriers, hands‑on training and a dedicated service team that handles the day‑to‑day account management after the sale. Your focus is building relationships, developing new business and growing your book.

This is a true business development role. Our producers create opportunities through networking, referrals, community involvement, professional relationships and consistent prospecting. We provide the platform, training, markets and support, but your success will ultimately be driven by your ability and willingness to go out and build your business.

Income is uncapped and grows as your book grows. Strong performers typically earn $80,000 to $100,000 in their second year and exceed $100,000 annually in years three and four, with top producers earning significantly more.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities through networking, referrals, community involvement, professional relationships, and proactive prospecting.
• Develop relationships with business owners, professionals, referral partners and prospective clients throughout the Jacksonville community.
• Meet with prospective clients to understand their needs, identify insurance opportunities and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Present insurance proposals, communicate value and confidently ask for the business.
• Consistently follow up with prospects and referral partners to move opportunities through the sales process.
• Build long-term client and referral relationships that generate repeat business, renewals and referrals over time.
• Maintain accurate prospect and sales activity within the agency’s management and CRM systems.
• Work closely with our internal account management and support teams to provide a smooth transition from new business to ongoing client service.
• Participate in agency sales meetings, training, coaching and professional development.
• Meet established activity and production goals while taking ownership of your individual pipeline and results.

Requirements

• Proven success in sales, business development or a relationship-driven role with measurable results.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new opportunities rather than relying solely on inbound leads.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the confidence to initiate conversations, ask for referrals and close business.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working toward individual activity, pipeline and production goals.
• Organized, accountable and consistent with follow-up.
• Professional presence and the ability to build credibility with business owners, professionals and referral partners.
• Willingness to actively network and develop relationships within the Jacksonville business community.
