About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead and drive the operational and financial success of its veterinary hospitals. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a high-performing and engaged team culture that supports excellent client and patient care. This senior leadership role requires a strategic focus on financial management, customer experience, innovation, and operational efficiency. The VP of Operations will be accountable for the strategic execution of business goals, financial growth, and team development, ensuring that the hospitals operate efficiently and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include overseeing financial performance, championing a customer-centric culture, implementing innovative processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading leadership development and training. Applicants for the VP of Operations role at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior operational role within a veterinary setting, with a proven track record in multi-location management. A Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have expertise in P&L management, budget oversight, and strategic planning, as well as strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in data-driven strategies, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration is essential. The role demands a leader who is adept at financial analysis, performance optimization, and is capable of managing the diverse challenges of the veterinary industry, including high-volume hospitals, 24/7 operations, and critical care environments.
