# Registered Nurse, LTSSApplylocations: Sanford, NC: Raleigh, NCtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R12563**Scheduled Weekly Hours:**40**Schedule**:Monday-Friday (8am-5pm) with on-call rotation TBD**Pay Range Minimum:**$66,560.00**Education We're Looking for:**Associates: Nursing (Required)**Certifications We're Looking For:**Drivers License (Valid) - USA, Registered Nurse (RN) - State Board of Nursing**Experience We're Looking For:**Experience in a long-term care setting | Not RequiredPsychiatric Nursing Experience | Not Required**Additional Details:*** Provide training for Medication Administration, which requires driving and traveling to Monarch training sites.**Job Description Summary:**The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse is to provide nursing services and active treatment to individuals in a designated LTSS setting in an effort to enhance daily living. This will include administration and monitoring of medication, nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluation of care provided.**What You'll Do:*** Assist the team with monitoring routine and emergent medical care as specified by state regulations and service definitions.* Periodically observe medication administration by staff to individuals in a residential/day program setting and self-administration by individuals in order to ensure best practices are followed.* Monitor documentation following medical appointments for individuals in residential services to ensure proper follow-up on recommendations.* Review monthly Medication Administration Records ensuring all medications are properly transcribed onto a specified form and maintain them in accordance with program standards and individual needs.* Ensure quarterly/six-month and annual physician order updates occur for prescribed and over-the-counter medications.* Assist with coordinating efforts between pharmacies, physicians, laboratories, etc.; in order to ensure medical needs of individual being supported are met and coordinated safely.* Conduct quarterly medication audits in order to ensure accurate procedures have been followed and that no medication errors have occurred.* Develop and monitor programs to help individuals being supported perform self-administration.* Participate in preparing annual compliance surveys conducted by the Division of Facility Services.* Ensure a safe environment for the individuals being supported and ensure maintenance of OSHA compliance.* To promote independence in all medication administration, including self-administration and medication education.* Drive and travel to participants as required.* Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required. Maintain certification in all agency, state and federal training requirements.* Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures, as well as service definitions related to specific program areas.* Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.* Provide trainings/input for protocols for special accommodations, i.e. seizures, diabetes, special equipment etc.* Maintain availability by telephone to receive doctors' orders and to assist Monarch staff with implementing new medical/medication orders for Residential Services.**Benefits:**We offer a competitive and flexible total rewards package designed to support the diverse needs of our team members.
