Learning & Development Partner - Park MGM

Las Vegas, Nevada The Job The primary responsibility of the Learning & Development Partner is to execute a range of duties supporting MGM Resorts’ mission by managing and evaluating learning initiatives for property leaders across all operational areas. The role collaborates with property HR, Guest Experience, and operations leaders to design and deliver development programs that reflect MGM’s diversity and inclusion values while upholding federal, state, local laws and internal policies. The Day-to-Day Implement new hire orientations and enterprise-wide learning initiatives. Partner with HR, Guest Experience, and internal division leaders to assess leadership development needs based on guest feedback and department productivity reporting. Leverage a learning technology platform to deliver training, measure results, and provide dashboards for leaders to monitor team capabilities, compliance, and skill gaps. Track statistics, metrics, ROI, and develop additional learning and performance metrics to justify expenses. Collect, analyze, and report pre‑ and post‑course data to assess learning quality, participation, satisfaction, performance, and business impact. Consult with operational experts and corporate entities to conduct needs‑analysis, design, and deliver appropriate learning and custom solutions. Manage data reporting, documentation, and information within the learning management system. Coordinate self‑directed work, create timetables, manage deadlines and resources, and operate with minimal supervision. Oversee training center operations, including classroom setup, material preparation, scheduling, inventory ordering, and audiovisual needs. Advising employees on professional development opportunities such as educational assistance and career advancement programs. The Ideal Candidate 1+ year of prior adult learning, training, or facilitation experience. Strong facilitation and public‑speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences from line level to executives. Familiarity with adult learning principles and learning technologies (e.g., LMS, dashboards, reporting). Excellent interpersonal, planning, and time‑management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Perks & Benefits Health and income protection benefits (eligible employees).
