Physical Therapist - Occupational Medicine Location: Greene, NY Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule: Day Shift: 0730-1630, M-F Job Description: The Physical Therapist ensures that Physical Therapy services are administered and completed in a timely, accurate, and reliable manner, providing evaluations and treatments along with clinical documentation. The role includes maintaining specific service delivery standards focused on customer satisfaction, quality process integration, and compliance requirements. Responsibilities Assess patient strengths, limitations, and needs using standardized measurement tests. Develop and implement individualized treatment goals based on patient assessments. Administer and interpret clinical physical therapy services, adjusting treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate and timely patient treatment records for reimbursement and regulatory requirements. Establish effective working relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Participate in patient care conferences and collaborate for coordinated care. Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans and self-care techniques. Participate in discharge planning and coordinate referrals for durable medical equipment. Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants during treatment sessions. Engage in departmental performance improvement initiatives. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy with a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Current license or eligibility to be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of New York. BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross). Previous experience in an approved medical facility required. Preferred experience includes physical therapy in a hospital-based setting, ergonomic evaluations, and OSHA experience. Why ARMStaffing?
