Wire Cutter / Warehouse AssociateLocation: Sumner, WA Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (8-hour shift) Pay: $26.00 per hour Steel-Toed Boots Required Forklift Experience PreferredAbout the RoleManpower is currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Wire Cutter / Warehouse Associate for a leading electrical distribution company. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately cutting, staging, and preparing wire and cable orders for shipment while operating warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with warehouse experience who enjoy hands-on work and are looking for a potential temporary-to-permanent position.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately cut and prepare wire and cable orders for customer shipmentsOperate wire-cutting and coiling machineryPerform daily equipment inspections and safety checksLoad wire reels and thread wire through cutting equipmentAdjust machine settings to meet customer specificationsPull, stage, and organize materials for outgoing shipmentsOperate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safelyInspect products for quality and remove defective materialsMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety policies, OSHA requirements, and company proceduresAssist with general warehouse duties as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious warehouse or distribution center experience preferredWire-cutting experience is a plus but not requiredAbility to learn and operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and narrow-aisle equipmentBasic computer and math skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to prioritize tasks and meet productivity goalsReliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when neededPhysical RequirementsLift and carry up to 50 lbs regularlyStand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shiftWork in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levelsSafely operate warehouse machinery and equipmentWhy Apply?Competitive pay at $26/hour Opportunity for permanent hire Steady daytime schedule Training provided on equipment and safety procedures Join a team that values safety, accuracy, and teamworkInterested?
