Faculty Position in Neuropsychology
The Department of Neurology at our organization is on the lookout for a clinical neuropsychologist to become part of our faculty team at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, depending on qualifications and experience.
About the Neuropsychology ProgramOur Neuropsychology Program delivers extensive clinical services that assist physicians in managing patients with a variety of neurological conditions. Faculty members are responsible for conducting neuropsychological assessments that support diagnosis, track cognitive and behavioral changes over time, and evaluate risks associated with specialized treatments such as epilepsy surgery, deep brain stimulation, or responsive neurostimulation.
Research OpportunitiesIn addition to clinical responsibilities, faculty are involved in cutting-edge, grant-funded research backed by the NIH and private organizations. There are numerous opportunities for collaboration on ongoing clinical studies in areas such as Cognitive Neurology, Movement Disorders, and Stroke, as well as treatment trials focused on enhancing cognitive outcomes or reducing neuropsychological side effects.
Teaching and TrainingEducation and mentorship are vital components of our mission. Faculty members supervise graduate students from local Clinical Psychology programs and neuropsychology interns in our APA-accredited Division 40 Internship Program. Additionally, they participate in weekly Neuropsychology Case Conferences.
