Responsible for the daily operation and supervision of all purchasing activities. Will lead a team of buyers to ensure timely sourcing of equipment, goods, and services, and managing vendors required for system installation. Responsibilities Lead the Purchasing team and assure continuous development of the team for outstanding performance Negotiate major purchasing contracts, blanket orders, and long‑term purchase agreements Develop, support, and maintain purchasing policies and procedures Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness Suppliers’ performance management Analyze marketing forecasts to identify and plan for anticipated material requirements or cost variances Assign resources to new projects Assist the team on requisitions and orders, and solve problems with purchase orders Manage rental tools and rental equipment Demonstrates and shows humility to everyone every day Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications and Education Requirements 5+ years of relevant experience in Construction and HVAC industry BS degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration preferred Preferred Skills & Personal Attributes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized Ability to multi‑task Attention to detail Strong leadership Must possess strong computer skills Excellent time management Teamwork Sourcing and vendor management Negotiations Why Join Kelso Industries?
