Records Retention Specialist
Work Site: Gary, IN. Short Description: This position is part of the records retention project. Files and deals with correspondence and performs other general office duties. Complete Description: The position will help organize current records based on their type and retention schedules. Incumbent will be making copies, completing basic forms, removing paper/binder clips and documenting the files before packaging and shipping to the Records Center. Incumbent performs standardized and non-standardized tasks and requires incumbent to effectively manage agency resources while keeping consistent with agency policies and laws affecting the agency. Ability to work independently Ability to attend to detail and maintain accuracy and confidentiality Ability to lift between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
