Chicago | Four-Day Work Week (32 Hours) | In Office dSPACE Studio is an award-winning residential architecture firm with studios in Chicago and Los Angeles. We’re seeking an exceptionally organized, proactive professional to become the operational manager of our Chicago studio. This is a multifaceted role that blends studio operations, marketing coordination, office project coordination, and client communications. You’ll work with firm leadership to keep our studio running smoothly while helping deliver an exceptional experience for our clients and team. You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to marketing initiatives and explore emerging AI tools that are shaping the future of our practice. Why join dSPACE? Diverse, engaging responsibilities—no two days are the same Opportunity to learn AI, marketing, and business strategy Work directly with firm leadership Opportunities for professional growth Four-day work week (32 hours) Beautiful Chicago studio We’re looking for someone who is: Passionate about design and creating exceptional client experiences Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented Warm and professional An outstanding communicator and writer Resourceful, dependable, and proactive Comfortable with technology and excited to learn new AI tools and collaborate with our SEO and GEO consultants Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required Motivated, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office required and ability to learn new software Experience with Adobe software is a plus, but not required Prior administrative or office experience is welcome but not required Salary Range: $50,000 to $65,000 for a 4-day (32-hour) work week. This isn’t a traditional office management role. It’s an opportunity to become an integral member of a nationally recognized design studio where your ideas, initiative, and leadership will make a meaningful impact every day.
