Details Medical Surgical unit within a rehabilitation hospital setting Teaching hospital with 91 staffed beds Patient ratios of 1:6-8 Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM) Every other weekend required per facility needs Floating between units required Floating between sister facilities may be required No on-call responsibilities 48-hour work weeks approved Uses Epic for charting Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Epic charting experience required Experience with Neurological/Psychiatric patient care Experience with CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) patients Experience with pre/post neurosurgery care Experience with spinal cord injury patients Experience with traumatic brain injury patients Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge required Respiratory care skills including nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, and oxygen administration IV therapy and phlebotomy skills required Peripheral line care and management experience Cardiac monitoring and emergency response experience Experience with Rapid Response/Code teams Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide medical-surgical nursing care within a rehabilitation hospital environment Scrubs of any color accepted across all units No parking fees at this facility Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius, though local candidates may be accepted at a lower bill rate Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travel nurse and must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility Candidates must disclose any prior work history at Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem positions Commitment to working 3 of 5 major holidays required (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process, as post-offer requests may not be accommodated American Traveler Job ID P-746917.
