We're a chef-owned restaurant group looking for a hands-on kitchen leader to run operations at our two locations: 322 BBQ, a BBQ and catering kitchen in Mullica Hill, NJ, and Hill Donut Co. & Pancake House, a breakfast, brunch, and bakery operation in North Wilmington, DE.This is not a clipboard job and it's not a micromanaged one. You'll run a largely autonomous kitchen with real input into the menu and the direction of both restaurants. If you've been waiting for a role where your ideas actually get used, this is it.This is a daytime job. No late nights. We're built around breakfast, lunch, brunch, and catering, and we want someone who wants a real life outside the kitchen.What you'll do:• Lead kitchen operations across both locations (about a 35 to 40 minute drive apart)• Run your kitchen with real autonomy: your systems, your standards, your team• Contribute directly to menu development, specials, and the overall direction of the restaurants• Hire, train, and develop prep, line, and bakery teams• Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation standards• Own ordering, inventory, food cost, and vendor relationships• Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols• Solve problems quickly and keep service running smoothly## What we’re looking for* Kitchen leadership experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or similar. We care more about how you run a line and lead people than about years on a resume* A leader who sets the tone, leads by example, and builds a team people want to work on* Strong organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills* Self-motivated and reliable.
