Clinical Staff SupervisorResponsible for supervising the daily operations of the clinical staff of a medical clinic. Acts as a liaison between the back office and other clinic departments. Mediates issues between back office staff and physicians as well as other departments in the clinic.Primary Care Department OverviewThe Primary Care teams at Samaritan Health Services offer complete health care for all family members from newborns to seniors through their pediatric, family medicine and internal medicine providers. They encourage and offer preventive care, including annual exams, health screenings and counseling regarding health and lifestyle. This practice also includes family medicine residents. Residents work closely with the primary care team of attending physicians throughout their three years of training and are directly involved in patient care.Experience/Education/QualificationsRegistered or Certified Medical Assistant required.Previous medical back office experience/medical assistant training, or completion of a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant program required.Two (2) years experience in a healthcare setting required (experience must include one (1) year as a medical assistant).One (1) year leadership/supervisory experience required.Healthcare Provider BLS required.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesCommunication - Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues, exchange information between team members, and tactfully discuss issues. Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas.Adaptability/Flexibility - Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to situations that may arise with high risk or diverse patient populations.
