RN OR Circulator Outpatient Surgery Center

Join our high-functioning surgical team as a Registered Nurse and play a critical role in caring for patients before, during, and after surgery. Your expertise, communication, and teamwork will help ensure the safest and most compassionate experience for every patient. Responsibilities Prepare patients for surgery, review medical history, and provide essential support including supplies, medication administration, positioning, vital sign monitoring, and health assessments. Document clinical information accurately and perform post‑operative assessments. Monitor patients after surgery for pain, complications, and wound healing or infection in accordance with Joint Commission infection‑control and environment‑of‑care standards. Perform CPR or other emergency interventions when required. Collaborate with the surgical team to meet patient needs and advocate for a safe care environment. Ensure continuity of care, efficient workflow, consistent communication, and an excellent patient experience. Provide patient and family education regarding the operation and post‑operative care. Qualifications Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana, issued by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
