Step into a pivotal role supporting K–12 students' academic and emotional growth in the Mobile area as a School Psychometrist. This contract opportunity, starting October 1, 2026 and running through May 26, 2027, offers the chance to make a direct impact across a diverse school community. Candidates with a strong background in psychological assessment and student support are encouraged to bring their expertise to this dynamic environment.
On-site interviews will take place beginning August 26, 2026 for local candidates. Interviews will pause between August 31 and September 4 and resume afterward. The specific school locations will be finalized closer to the start date. Assignments may be itinerant, depending on student testing needs, providing valuable variety throughout your workweek.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychometry (or related field)
- Current, valid professional license (images required upon selection)
- Previous experience within K–12 settings strongly preferred
- Skills in student evaluations, data interpretation, and collaborating with educators
- Flexibility to move between campuses as required
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments for students across grade levels
- Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support teams on intervention plans
- Prepare detailed documentation and assessment reports in compliance with district procedures
- Contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams for data-driven student support
- Maintain ethical, confidential, and culturally responsive practices
