Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a SAP RAR Functional Support Analyst on behalf of our client in Plano, TX. This role is responsible for providing post-go-live production support for a subscription billing modernization initiative transitioning from a legacy platform to SAP. The ideal candidate will serve as the functional lead for SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), ensuring the accuracy of revenue contracts, event processing, allocation, posting, reconciliation, and revenue recognition activities. The position requires close collaboration with Finance, OTC, ABAP, Integration, and SAP BTP teams to maintain stable revenue accounting operations and resolve production issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) processes in a production environment.

• Monitor, investigate, and resolve issues related to revenue accounting events, contract creation, allocations, postings, and revenue recognition.

• Analyze end-to-end business processes across wholesale, retail, and subscription billing scenarios.

• Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution in collaboration with technical and functional teams.

• Work closely with OTC, Finance/GL, ABAP, Integration, and SAP BTP teams to resolve system and business process issues.

• Support month-end and period-end revenue recognition processes and financial reconciliations.

• Validate and reconcile source transactions, billed transactions, and revenue accounting outcomes.

• Identify and troubleshoot configuration, mapping, master data, and integration-related issues.

• Support testing activities for enhancements, defect fixes, transports, and production changes.

• Document support procedures, issue resolutions, root causes, and best practices.

• Assist business and finance stakeholders with audit requests, transaction analysis, and production support needs.

Required Qualifications

• 11+ years of SAP functional experience with strong expertise in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (SAP RAR) .

• Strong understanding of revenue recognition processes, including contract modifications, revenue allocation, deferrals, and recognition timing.

• Experience supporting integrated billing, accounting, and finance business processes.

• Proven experience in production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and reconciliation activities.

• Ability to analyze end-to-end transaction flows and identify business and system impacts.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including OTC, GL/Finance, ABAP, Integration, and support teams.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting subscription billing or recurring revenue business models.

• Knowledge of revenue recognition standards such as ASC 606 and IFRS 15 .

• Experience with SAP transformation or legacy system modernization programs.

• Familiarity with interface-driven SAP environments and complex system integrations.

• Exposure to SAP BTP and related integration technologies.

• Experience supporting hypercare and steady-state production support models.
