ABOUT THE JOB

GOAT USA is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to help shape and grow our Women's and Girls’ apparel collections. This role is responsible for bringing seasonal concepts to life through apparel design, graphic development, color direction, and product assortment planning. Working closely with Product Development and the Design teams, the Designer will play a key role in creating new, trend-right products that align with GOAT USA’s brand identity while supporting the company’s continued growth across multiple product categories. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for fashion, apparel design, and storytelling through product. They possess a deep understanding of garment construction, graphics, color, and fit, along with the ability to balance creativity with commercial appeal. The Designer will be proactive in identifying trends, developing fresh ideas, and creating products that resonate with GOAT USA’s customers while maintaining the brand’s distinctive style and vision. Job Purpose The Designer plays a key role in creating and evolving GOAT USA’s Women's and Girls’ product lines by developing innovative apparel concepts that align with the brand’s vision, direction, and aesthetic. This position is responsible for creating seasonal collections from concept through execution, including designing garments and graphics, developing seasonal color palettes, and building cohesive product assortments. The Designer contributes to the overall product strategy by identifying trends, researching market opportunities, and translating creative ideas into successful products. This role requires a strong understanding of apparel design, fabrications, fit, and construction, along with exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings a passion for fashion and innovation, and is committed to creating products that resonate with GOAT USA’s growing customer base. Duties and Responsibilities Design seasonal catalogs based on seasonal offerings (mainline and wholesale). Develop style tech packs for all new products being developed for season. Create detailed flat sketches, including stitches and seaming details, for catalogs and technical packs. Develop Artwork Tech Packs for factory production, including color pitches and repeats for graphics and all-over prints. Collaborate with the Product Development team to review and provide feedback on color strike-offs. Scale graphics appropriately for various size ranges: Toddler, Youth, Adult. Collaborate with the internal creative team to develop graphic or print concepts and ideas for each season, aligned with current directions and trends. Design custom project GOAT USA graphics and monthly GOAT USA stickers. Build seasonal color palettes and seasonal outlines for products. Work within Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in related field 3-5 years apparel design experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong communication, leadership and team management skills Excellent organizational and time management skills. Exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Ability to communicate effectively in English Full-Time, exempt. Normal working hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; must be flexible to work evenings and occasional weekends. Location: 100% in-person - Plainview, NY

SALARY RANGE

The salary for this role is $80,000 annually. The salary offered will take into account a number of factors, including the applicant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
