This position's primary responsibility is performing various accounting and clerical work for the Corporate Finance Department.**Essential Job Responsibilities*** Responsible for maintaining accurate finance records, including scanning and filing.* Complete daily transactions.* Perform weekly check runs and reconciliations.* Maintain onsite and offsite record retention for Accounting and all related areas.* Assist with month-end closing procedures as needed.* Continued process improvements.* Assist with routine audits (i.e., 401k, Workers Compensation).* Perform other duties as assigned.**Required Qualifications*** High school diploma or GED equivalent.* Enrolled in a four-year university with a declared major in finance, business, or related field.* Students already enrolled in advanced level courses - Preferred.* Proficient with MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and use of a PC.**Preferred Skills and Experience*** Experience in Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality at all times.* Strong verbal and written communication skills.* Good analytical and decision-making skills.* Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work based on business needs.* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, to prioritize and work in a multi-tasked environment.* Ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities under minimal supervision.* Must be able to follow directions and work in a team environment.**Physical Requirements*** Must be able to sit at a desk in for 6-8 hours daily.**Company Overview**Boyd is the world's leading innovator in sustainable engineered material and thermal solutions that make our customers' products better, safer, faster, and more reliable.
