The Web Developer is responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining websites, including all aspects like layout, functionality, and user experience, by writing clean code using languages like HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites that perform well across different devices and browsers. He/She creates and enhances the overall website appearance using graphic/multi-media design software and designs site navigation that is clear and easy to understand. The Web Developer ensures sites remain scalable while complying with performance and security standards. He/She updates content based on input from marketing and documents changes in source code.Job ResponsibilitiesFront-end development: Designing and coding the visual elements of a website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring responsiveness and optimal user interfaceBack-end collaboration: Building the server-side logic of a website using languages like Python, Java, PHP, to handle data processing and database interactionsUser experience (UX) design: Contributing to the overall user experience by creating intuitive navigation and site layoutsCode review and testing: Writing clean, well-documented code and thoroughly testing website functionality across different browsers and devicesCollaboration with designers and stakeholders: Working with designers to translate visual mockups into functional websites and collaborating with clients to understand project requirementsPerformance optimization: Implementing techniques to improve website loading speed and performanceSecurity considerations: Ensuring website security by implementing best practices to protect against vulnerabilitiesJob RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Communications or related field preferred3+ years of web development experience is requiredMust have strong Project Management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines; must be proactive with a high level of organizationMust possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to drive process improvementProficiency with programming languages HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript is requiredKnowledge of REST APIs and design patterns is requiredComfort with front-end frameworks React is requiredKnowledge of database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL) is requiredKnowledge of version control systems Git and Jira is requiredMust be able to leverage effective communication to convey information clearly and engagingly to the target audienceCompensation: Salary + Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package.
