Job Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) position within the Enterprise Central Resource Pool (CRP) is a specialized role where qualified nursing professionals are assigned to various units based on their clinical skills, expertise, and the needs of the organization. This role involves employing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver personalized care to patients.

Collaboration with inter-professional teams, including physicians, is essential for planning, executing, and assessing patient care. The RN will demonstrate proficiency and operate within the full scope of nursing knowledge, adhering to age and population-specific standards relevant to their clinical environment. Responsibilities include caring for patients throughout all stages of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up as they progress through the continuum of care.

Key duties encompass care planning and coordination, patient assessments, education, triage, and various nursing interventions. The RN will function in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of the state of practice and licensure. Our organization recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as established by the American Nurses Association as the foundation for nursing care delivery and professional behavior. Work hours may vary based on patient and unit requirements, potentially including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nursing program accredited by the National League of Nursing (NLN) or the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) is highly preferred.
• A Bachelor's Degree in nursing is preferred.
• At least one year of nursing experience is preferred.
• Must possess an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the state where practice occurs, or hold multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Must obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications, such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) as applicable to the assignment.
