Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients identified with nutritional risk or special needs
- Conduct patient assessments and reassessments to guide nutrition interventions
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans
- Educate patients and families on diet therapy, dietary modifications, and disease-specific nutrition
- Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to align nutrition care with overall treatment plans
- Document all interventions and outcomes following policy and professional standards

Requirements
- Ability to perform patient nutrition assessments, reassessments, and documentation in an inpatient clinical setting
- Experience or demonstrated skill in developing nutrition care plans and providing nutrition education
- Strong communication skills for conversations with patients, families, and care teams
- Willingness to work a travel assignment in Bakersfield, CA
- 40-hour workweek availability within the specified shift pattern
