Job Description:


- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) - Flexibility required, potential to adjust to 12:00-20:30 as needed.
- Weekend Requirement: 1 every 6 weeks.
- Floating Requirement: Yes, as needed.
- Flu Vaccination: Required - No exemptions or declinations.
- Experience Needed:
- 1 year of Radiology experience required.
- ICU, ER, or IR experience also acceptable with Radiology experience.
- Certifications:
- ACLS,
- BLS,
- PALS.
- Special Skills Required:
- Strong IV placement skills are mandatory.
- Previous critical care experience essential.
- First Time Travelers: Welcome!
- RTO Policy: Maximum of 10 days; None within the first 2 weeks of assignment. Must work 3 of 5 holidays.
- On-Call Requirements: None.
- License Requirements: Must hold an active CA license at the time of submission. No pending or temporary licenses accepted.

- End-Tidal CO2 monitoring
- Accessing/Managing Ports
- Administering Conscious Sedation
- Bar Code Medication Administration
- Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias
- Medication Management
- Monitoring Conscious Sedation
- PICC line care and management
- Radiation Safety
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure
- Paracentesis/Thoracentesis
- Critical Care experience (ICU or ER)

Additional Information:
- Preferred charting systems include Cerner.
- Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics.
- Dedicated interdisciplinary support within the Radiology department.
