Inside Sales Representative

Inside Sales Representative / Telemarketer - $20/hr to $30/hr + commissions!
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative / Telemarketer to join our growing commercial energy sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting business owners and decision-makers, identifying opportunities, and selling electricity and natural gas supply solutions to commercial customers. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, comfortable making outbound calls, and driven by performance-based compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective commercial customers to generate sales opportunities.
- Identify and engage business owners, office managers, and key decision-makers.
- Educate customers on electricity and natural gas supply options and explain the benefits of switching providers.
- Present pricing plans and contract terms in a clear and professional manner.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects through daily calling activities.
- Follow up with leads and nurture relationships to maximize conversions.
- Accurately document customer interactions and sales activity in CRM systems.
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals and KPIs.
- Stay informed about market trends, pricing changes, and industry regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable sales and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in inside sales, telemarketing, call center sales, or business-to-business (B2B) sales preferred.
- Energy industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication and persuasive selling skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls.
- Self-motivated with a competitive and goal-oriented mindset.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
