Assistant Controller

We're seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join a growing Finance & Accounting team. This is a key leadership role for an accounting professional who enjoys a mix of technical accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, and operational leadership. What You'll Do Lead the month-end close and financial reporting process Oversee the General Ledger Accounting team Review journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and reporting packages Provide oversight and support across Accounts Payable, Commissions, and Claims Billing Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly budget-to-actual reporting Develop and maintain cost allocation methodologies Analyze financial performance, trends, variances, and cost structures Support annual audits, internal controls, and accounting initiatives Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and efficiency Coach and mentor accounting professionals What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Active CPA license required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience in a multi-entity or multi-company environment Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience Demonstrated experience leading month-end close Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, cost accounting, and cost allocation Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting leader who wants to have a meaningful impact on financial reporting, business planning, process improvement, and team development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
