CategoryEducation## DescriptionAdjunct Clinical faculty in community health settings.Adjunct faculty will take students into community health settings to provide clinical instruction.Community health clinicals are taught in a variety of community-based settings. Individual may come to Misenheimer on select occasions to assist with simulations as an alternative to attending the clinical site.## QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Nursing required, will also consider an entry level Master’s degree. Master’s degree preferred.This nursing faculty must be a registered nurse with a minimum of two years in clinical practice and hold a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina. Faculty must meet the qualifications for faculty required by the NC Board of Nursing () within three years of employment. Nurse Educator Certification (CNE) preferred, but all qualified applicants will be considered. Preference is given to applicants with teaching experience. Documented experience and expertise in clinical nursing area relevant to course needs. Provide evidence of license, immunizations, HIPAA, OSHA, CPR or other clinical facility requirements.
