Centerless GrinderLocation: Euclid, OHWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator/Grinder to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, inspecting, and maintaining grinding equipment to produce quality parts that meet print and specification requirements. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision work, follows safety standards, and works well in a team environment.Essential Job Functions:Read and interpret blueprints and job routings to determine part specifications and order requirementsSet up machines completely, including required tooling, adjustments, and gaugingVerify first-piece production to ensure all dimensions conform to print specifications using proper measuring instrumentsUse gauges and other measuring devices to ensure parts meet specificationsInspect parts regularly throughout production to ensure print requirements are metDress grinding wheels as required to maintain size and surface finishTear down machine setups after job completionClean machines and work areas daily; maintain an orderly workspace and keep floors free of oilAssist and instruct co-workers as neededFollow all safety rules and procedures; report unsafe conditions or actions to a supervisorLearn and perform preventative maintenance on machinery and tooling to prevent damage or lossReport any equipment or tooling issues requiring repair to the department supervisorAdditional Duties:Comply with all company policies, instructions, and directionsAddress production and quality issues with urgency and responsivenessAct in the company's best interest at all timesParticipate in relevant training and continuing education programs as identified by managementQualifications:Previous manufacturing experience or on-the-job training preferredKnowledge of grinding processes and metal propertiesAbility to read and interpret work instructions and documentationAbility to read and understand blueprintsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divideAbility to use and read various measuring devicesMinimum of an 8th grade educationAbility to pass a preemployment screeningSalary: $26-$32 an hour based on experience Shift 1st (Monday through Thursday 6 am to 4:30 pm)(OT as needed)Company Benefits include:Healthcare, dental, & vision plans401k planCompany paid life and disability insurancePaid Holidays and Vacation TimeNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
