Senior Accountant, Revenue Recognition

Senior Accountant supporting revenue recognition operations at a global medical technology company. Responsibilities include analyzing complex contracts under ASC 606 and ASC 842, performing month-end reconciliations, maintaining balance sheet accounts, and collaborating with finance stakeholders on accounting treatments.
Responsibilities
- Review complex contracts and assess proper revenue treatment under ASC 606 and ASC 842
- Perform revenue analysis, month-end reconciliations, journal entry postings, and fluctuation analysis
- Record revenue accruals and balance sheet entries during month-end close process
- Analyze, reconcile, and maintain balance sheet accounts related to revenue
- Support quarterly reviews and annual audits with documentation; partner with FP&A stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 1+ years audit or relevant accounting work experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency with pivot tables and complex formulas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed with ability to work collaboratively in team environment
- CPA certification preferred
- Experience with ASC 606, ASC 842, SAP, Power BI, or Blackline software preferred
