Job Summary The Maintenance Engineer at Shriners Hospitals for Children is responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of the hospital's physical plant, equipment, and grounds. This role ensures a comfortable, functional, and secure environment for patients, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Informs management of malfunctioning equipment
• Visually inspects equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repairs, adjustment or lubrication
• Maintains building by performing repairs and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities
• Adheres to all hospital policies and procedures
• Performs work in a safe manner, follows safety precautions, utilizes all safety equipment
• Responds in an appropriate time frame to repair requests

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2 years Maintenance/Engineering

Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
