Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and senior demographics, utilizing both standardized assessments and observational techniques.
• Craft individualized treatment plans targeting both immediate and long-lasting communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions, concentrating on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to create seamless care strategies.
• Educate patients and families to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Provide occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a smooth continuity of care throughout the treatment path.
• Maintain precise documentation conforming to state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Remain updated on the latest developments in the field through continuous education and collaboration with peers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
