Job Overview

We are an established outdoor and camping brand with rich history serving outdoor enthusiasts worldwide. As we continue to expand our presence in North America, we are seeking a Brand & Community Specialist to help grow our social media presence, engage with customers and outdoor communities, support content initiatives, and contribute to e-commerce growth efforts. Working closely with the the whole team, this role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the outdoor lifestyle, enjoys learning products in depth, and is excited to help build meaningful connections between our brand and the outdoor community.

 

Key Responsibilities

Community & Brand Engagement

• Build authentic relationships with customers, creators, and outdoor communities
• Engage with customers across social media platforms and online communities
• Help strengthen brand awareness and customer loyalty within the outdoor market
• Monitor customer feedback and community conversations to identify opportunities and insights
• Represent the brand in a professional, knowledgeable, and authentic manner

Social Media & Content Support

• Support and help manage the brand's presence across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
• Assist with content planning, scheduling, publishing, and community engagement
• Coordinate with internal and external contributors to support content creation efforts
• Monitor content performance and provide recommendations for improvement
• Stay informed on social media trends and best practices

Social Commerce & Creator Partnerships

• Support TikTok Shop and other social commerce initiatives
• Assist with creator outreach, influencer partnerships, and affiliate programs
• Participate in product demonstrations, educational content, and livestream experiments when appropriate
• Serve as a knowledgeable brand representative for products and outdoor lifestyle topics
• Help identify opportunities to increase engagement and product awareness through social channels

Customer Experience

• Respond to customer inquiries through email, social media, and e-commerce platforms
• Assist customers with product questions and order-related concerns
• Help ensure a positive and professional customer experience
• Communicate recurring customer feedback and insights to the team

Market Research & Business Support

• Research competing brands, products, and industry trends
• Gather information to support marketing, product, and business initiatives
• Assist with organization of marketing assets, documentation, and operational projects
• Support cross-functional projects as needed
• Assist with order fulfillment and shipping during peak periods or when additional support is required

 

Skills & Requirements

• Passion for camping, outdoor recreation, overlanding, or outdoor lifestyles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional and customer-focused mindset
• Comfortable learning new software platforms and technologies
• Ability to represent the brand professionally both online and in person
• Willingness to develop in-depth knowledge of our products and customer base
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing social media accounts for a brand or business
• Experience with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
• Experience with Shopify, Amazon, or other e-commerce platforms
• Experience with content creation, photography, videography, or short-form video
• Experience working with creators, influencers, affiliates, or brand ambassadors
• Customer service or community management experience
• Experience with TikTok Shop or livestream selling
• Familiarity with Reddit and online communities
• Active participation in camping, hiking, overlanding, fishing, hunting, or outdoor recreation activities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time
• Ability to occasionally assist with order fulfillment during peak business periods
• Ability to travel occasionally within the United States and internationally for business related activities
