Project Executive

As a Project Executive, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing large-scale landscape construction projects, ensuring operational excellence, and driving organizational growth. Responsibilities Lead all landscape development operations for commercial and public projects ranging from $500K to $3M. Oversee and mentor project managers, engineers, and field supervisors to ensure project success and team growth. Implement and optimize construction systems, processes, and technologies to improve efficiency and quality. Manage project scheduling, sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and production tracking. Oversee financial performance, including job costing, budget reviews, and profitability analysis. Directly manage client communications and resolve project-related issues to ensure client satisfaction. Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are met across all projects. Collaborate with estimating and business development teams for effective project handoffs and planning. Support organizational growth by participating in hiring and structuring the future landscape development team. Qualifications 10+ years of leadership experience in landscape or commercial construction development. Proven track record managing large-scale commercial projects ($500K–$3M+). Expertise in hardscape, softscape, irrigation, site infrastructure, and related scopes. Strong understanding of contracts, job costing, change orders, and project financials. Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills. Experience working closely with field teams, subcontractors, and clients. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with construction technology and scheduling tools. Ability to work on-site in Indianapolis and travel to local/regional project sites as needed. Bilingual in Spanish (preferred). Experience with green roofs, fountains, and specialty landscape features (preferred). Background in scaling teams or operations within a high-growth or PE-backed firm (preferred). Familiarity with construction development ERP systems or digital project management tools such as Procore, Buildertrend, or Aspire (preferred).
