Materials Coordinator

The Materials Coordinator at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) is responsible for the proper and timely coordination of materials management including receipt, inspection, put away and storage, kitting, and the safe distribution of project materials to support field construction activities.

Responsibilities include ensuring all inventory is handled and stored safely, managing and executing receiving, count, and inspection of materials delivered to construction site/warehouse/lay-down yard, managing and directing the placement and distribution of materials and equipment onto various trucks, obtaining and resolving material related questions and/or problems, managing QA/QC receiving and issuing of material, planning, managing, and executing phase bundling, structure staging, and kitting, performing on-site material audits, maintaining all files, receipts, and records for lay-down yard inventory and operations, directly managing, controlling, and performing data input for project materials within our inventory management system, directing, coordinating, and supervising the off-loading and storage of materials, performing project closeout for materials, purchase orders, and other contract requirements, acting as liaison between Project managers, customers, suppliers, and construction management to resolve any material related issues, managing receiving and issuing of all materials, equipment, tools and consumables, ensuring all inventory is handled and stored safely, maintaining a safe and orderly yard using proper housekeeping practices, assisting in the completion of project mobilization and/or demobilization effort, performing any other duties assigned, and adhering to internal standards, policies, and procedures.

What You'll Bring

Required Experience and Education

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• 3 years' experience managing materials for a warehouse or lay-down yard; with at least 1 year of experience with EPC projects within the electric power delivery sector
• Understanding of receiving processes related to physical counts, inspections, inventory, storage, and issuance of material
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Certified Forklift Operator 8K 55K telescoping lifts (Lull) and skid-steers to lift, move, or place equipment or materials; or the ability to obtain this certification soon upon hire

• Ability to lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $75,000.00/Yr. - USD $95,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
