Corporate Accountant

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Corporate Accountant in Meriden, CT. Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely reconciliations of all accounts, (balance sheet, income statement, multiple banks, etc.)
• Prepare variance analysis, and management reports
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records
• Assist with software data integration and workflow projects
• Work with internal teams to ensure financial controls and compliance
• Assist with audit preparation and provide support to external auditors

• 4+ year of Accounting experience within the Financial Service, Insurance, or Banking Industry
• Public Accounting experience preferred
• Ability to reconcile accounts with multiple business units in a timely and efficient manner

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
