Corporate Accountant - Hybrid

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Corporate Accountant in Meriden, CT. This role offers great HQ opportunity, as well as amazing benefits including a pension, and succession plan with track for advancement! Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Assist with leading month-end and year-end closings
- GL and reconciliations
- Variance analysis, and management reporting
- Assist with software data integration and workflow projects
- Ensure financial controls are in effect, support internal partners and external auditors
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of Accounting experience within the Financial Service, preferably Insurance, or Banking Industry or regulated company
- GL experience (reconciliations, implementations etc.)
- Strong Excel (pivot tables, macros, lookups)
