Automotive Service Technician

Automotive Service TechnicianAs an automotive service technician at Parkside Kia in Knoxville, Tennessee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the high standards of our dealership. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, requiring technical skills and strong attention to detail. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on a variety of Kia vehicles.Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time hourly position offering competitive compensation based on experience, certifications, and performance. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including a $5,000 signing bonus, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401k plan.Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacementsDiagnose and repair mechanical issues on Kia vehicles using appropriate tools and equipmentComplete accurate and timely repairs based on dealership and manufacturer standardsConduct vehicle inspections and provide accurate estimates for repairsKeep accurate records of all service and repair work performedCommunicate effectively with service advisors and other team membersMaintain a clean and organized work areaAdhere to all safety procedures and guidelinesRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience as an automotive service technicianASE certifications preferredMust have own tools and a valid driver's licenseAbility to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environmentStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsMust be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsParkside Kia is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
