About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President & Department Leader for a senior role that is pivotal in providing strategic direction and leadership to a key department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of departmental goals with the overall business objectives, driving growth, operational excellence, and innovation. This role involves overseeing cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and fostering a high-performance culture that promotes collaboration and accountability. The Vice President will also serve as a critical liaison between executive leadership and department staff, facilitating communication and decision-making processes. Ultimately, the role is focused on shaping the department's long-term success and contributing to the company's competitive advantage in the marketplace. Applicants must have a CPA, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and a minimum of 20 years' progressive leadership experience in a relevant industry. The role requires a proven track record in strategic financial planning, M&A, financial audits, credit risk management, change management, and financial controls. Strong financial acumen, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential. The Vice President will be expected to lead and develop the divisional accounting team, provide on-site M&A support, and monitor the financial activities of subsidiaries and affiliates. The ideal candidate will also have a Master's degree, experience in a multinational organization, and a background in driving digital transformation and innovation initiatives. Professional certifications in leadership, project management, or relevant technical areas are a plus.
