Job Description

As an Accounting Assistant, you will support the accounting and administrative functions of a busy office environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience working with accounting systems to ensure accurate financial recordkeeping and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience using ADP and SAP and be comfortable working with confidential financial information.

Responsibilities:  

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Enter and maintain financial data accurately in SAP
• Process payroll-related information and employee records using ADP
• Reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and payment records
• Prepare and maintain accounting reports and spreadsheets
• Assist with month-end accounting activities and recordkeeping
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting transactions
• Maintain organized financial files and documentation
• Support the accounting team with administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or administrative accounting experience required
• Experience using ADP and SAP strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Accounting or Business preferred
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
