CNC Machinist - Lathe

CNC Lathe and Mills MachinistHiring an experienced CNC Machinist to operate and set up CNC lathes while producing precision parts from blueprints and specifications. Responsibilities include measuring parts with precision tools, performing machining operations (turning, threading, grooving, etc.), and completing basic machine maintenance.Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of CNC lathe experience, strong blueprint reading and math skills, and the ability to use measurement gauges accurately.Duties/ResponsibilitiesAble to operate CNC Lathe machinesKnowledge and use of precision measuring instruments such as; calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, thread gages, go/no go gages, etc.Knowledge of reading drawings, blueprints, and specs.Perform math calculations using fractions and decimals.Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations, and take accurate measurementsPerform preventative maintenance on machineSkills/Qualifications1+ year experience operating and setting up CNC Lathes.Able to read blueprints, read GD&T, and use measuring gages.Able to perform math calculations using fractions and decimals.High School Diploma or GED. Schooling in CNC is a plus.Ability to pass a pre-employment screening.Salary: $18-$22 an hour based on experienceShift: 1st (Monday thru Thursday 6am-4:30pm.)
