EMC Precision has provided complex parts in low- to mid-volume quantities expertly machined since 1925. This Style Lathe Operator will be responsible for the Lathes with live tooling and Vertical Mill 4th & 5th Axis.

Primary Job Duties

• $3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS! Bonus will be paid in 3 increments of $500/90 Days, $1,000/6 Months, and $1,500/12 Months.
• CNC Machine experience required
• Lathe experience with live tooling (Y axis) and sub-spindle
• Read and interpret drawings
• Read micrometer and other precision instruments
• Calculate/adjust machine settings
• Identify/solve problems
• High School diploma/GED preferred and be able to pass background check and drug screen
• Solid work history

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED preferred and able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Fluent in Shop Math.
• Minimum of one year of shop experience.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area utilizing 5S techniques and methods.
• Responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment.
• Solid work history.
• Must be able to frequently push, pull, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, stand, see general & close up, hear, speak, use motor coordination – dexterity as well as eye, hand, foot and use of hand(s), wrist, arms, and fingers and arm(s) in any direction.
• Must be able to occasionally kneel, stoop, bend, grip, climb flights of stairs.
