Position Overview Mountain Side Counseling & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work remotely while providing vital support to individuals at our detox center, with a salary range of $85,000 to $104,000 annually. Work Environment This role will be primarily remote, providing flexibility and work-life balance. Our work culture emphasizes collaboration and support among team members. The operating hours for this position are flexible, allowing for 4x10 or 5x8 shift patterns Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 7 PM. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, groups, couples, and families dealing with a variety of issues, including substance abuse, mental health disorders, and emotional struggles. Conduct thorough client interviews to gather and interpret social, personal, environmental, and health information essential for effective treatment planning. Evaluate clients' needs and develop treatment plans to address their social and emotional challenges, ensuring alignment with their overall recovery goals. Facilitate cognitive, affective, and behavioral therapy sessions, including short-term crisis intervention and referrals to community resources when necessary. Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients characterized by mutual respect, trust, and acceptance. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment services, making adjustments as needed to enhance client outcomes. Accurately document client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with established guidelines and protocols. Manage a diverse caseload while ensuring up-to-date and comprehensive case documentation. Participate in team meetings and professional development activities, contributing insights and experiences to enhance service delivery. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients you will support in this position are individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. This role involves working closely with clients from various backgrounds, many of whom may be facing significant life challenges such as trauma, grief, family dynamics, and addiction. Your expertise and empathetic approach will help bridge the gap for these clients, offering them a pathway to healing and empowerment. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Texas. Proficient ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions. Preferred Experience While we consider all qualified applicants, preference will be given to candidates with: At least four years of experience in the mental health field or a related area. Demonstrated experience in counseling clients dealing with substance use disorders, mood disorders, and relational challenges. Skills in crisis intervention and community resource coordination.
