Work Environment This position allows for flexibility and convenience as it is mostly remote, enabling you to deliver therapeutic services and support to clients in the comfort of their own environments. With operational hours from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, you will have the opportunity to design a schedule that accommodates both your professional responsibilities and personal commitments. As a part of our community health clinic, you will be supported by a dedicated administrative team that manages client scheduling and service logistics, allowing you to focus solely on delivering exceptional care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories, strengths, and areas needing attention. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery strategies that promote resilience and healing. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to individual client needs. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that help clients process their emotional responses to trauma while developing effective coping mechanisms. Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care that addresses the comprehensive needs of our clients. Offer crisis intervention support for individuals experiencing trauma-related emergencies to ensure clients’ immediate safety and welfare. Engage in educational outreach for clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources. Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure accountability and strive for the best client outcomes. Participate in case consultations and professional development activities, staying current with the latest research and practices in trauma-informed care. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients we serve are often navigating the complex aftermath of traumatic experiences, making it essential to approach each case with a deep understanding of trauma-informed practices. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Banyan Recovery, you will engage with a diverse client population ranging from adolescents to adults dealing with varied trauma-related disorders. Our clinic emphasizes the importance of compassion and responsiveness in developing therapeutic relationships that empower clients to thrive. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect positively with clients and colleagues. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain clinical documentation and manage client information effectively. Preferred Experience At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapies. Experience working within multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated mental health care. A willingness and openness to work with couples (training provided). Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
