Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions and treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address clients' mental health concerns.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, ensuring a supportive and stigma-free environment where clients can express themselves freely.

• Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately in our electronic medical record (EMR) system to maintain compliance with ethical and legal guidelines.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care and support for clients.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training to stay abreast of best practices and advancements in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will serve a diverse array of clients, ranging from children and adolescents to adults seeking support for various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. The flexible scheduling options will enable you to meet clients at their convenience, ensuring they receive timely and effective support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in mental health treatment.

• Knowledge of ethical principles and legal regulations governing counseling practices.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 75,000 and 100,000 annually, based on your experience and caseload.
