We provide service both in the field and in our facility. K.C. Bobcat – Blue Springs is looking to add a Diesel Technician/Mechanic. This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on Bobcat equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner. This includes performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment. The technician will also be responsible for identifying problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems and executing effective solutions. Sign on bonus available! $250 at three months, $250 at six months, and $500 at one year! Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is required. 2 year technical school graduate preferred or equivalent experience 1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required; 3-5 years preferred. Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team. Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs. Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Physical Requirements Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment. Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
