Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license in Michigan
• Previous experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Skilled in employing a variety of assessment and intervention strategies
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Comfortable working with diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide individualized therapy sessions for students based on their educational needs
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and progress reports
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
• Adjust interventions as needed to help students achieve their functional and academic goals
• Support classroom adaptations and teacher training as required
• Consult and communicate regularly with staff, students, and parents for ongoing progress
