Ideal Profile:

• Active Occupational Therapist license for Michigan
• Previous experience working in school-based settings is strongly preferred
• Expertise in supporting students with diverse physical, sensory, and developmental needs
• Strong collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and families
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to an educational setting
• Effective communicator, both written and verbal

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver engaging direct therapy within classroom or small group settings
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into daily school activities
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation of services provided and student progress
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment or environmental modifications as needed
• Participate in ongoing professional development related to school-based occupational therapy
