Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Trauma ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Patient ratio 1:2. Float to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry as needed. Approximately half of weekends per contract.

Highlights:

• Level I Trauma ICU environment with 16-bed capacity
• Advanced critical care experience with ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic support
• Epic charting system utilized for electronic health records
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 91-day travel assignment with 36 hours of orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off period available

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Texas or Compact license required at time of submittal)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios, ventilator management, blood product administration, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and BiPAP/CPAP
• Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
