Technical Delivery Manager

Stelvio are working with a client seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead the technical aspects of customer system delivery. You will act as the subject-matter expert for each assigned implementation, determining how the core product can be configured to meet the customer’s expectations. You will remain involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from the bidding stage through to final system acceptance. The role suits a proactive, consultative and solutions-focused leader with experience delivering complex software systems and building strong customer relationships. Responsibilitie sIn this role, you will :Partner with delivery, product, programme management and business leadership teams to define solutions aligned with customer and business needs

• Take overall responsibility for the timely delivery of technical project deliverables and customer satisfaction
• Lead the delivery team throughout the project lifecycle
• Work closely with the Programme Management Office to support effective project planning, execution and delivery
• Act as the functional lead for delivery processes, providing direction and serving as the escalation point for process owners
• Ensure delivery metrics, measures and third-party supplier agreements align with contracted timeframes
• Develop detailed knowledge of customer contracts and statements of work
• Translate customer requirements and expectations into clear context for internal teams
• Act as the primary technical contact between customers and the wider organisation
• Establish and maintain strategic technical relationships with customers and internal delivery teams
• Communicate technical opportunities to customers and internal stakeholders
• Translate complex technical information for non-technical audiences and communicate business requirements to technical teams
• Support technology assessments and investigations
• Help create and improve delivery methods for existing solutions
• Mentor colleagues assigned to your projects and provide constructive feedback
• Build a broad understanding of tolling technology and the client’s solutions
• Maintain a positive customer experience throughout delivery

Qualificatio nsYou will nee d:A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or another equivalent science-based subjec t.At Five years of management or leadership experience covering the full software delivery lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, release and implementatio n. Alternatively, you will ne ed:At least ten years of tolling industry experience, including involvement in two or more major agency system deliveri es.
